There is no official date at this point for the Release of SEP 12.1 RU2.

However, as far as I know, SEP 12.1 RU2 would support upgrade path from SEP 11 RU7.

Again, incase if you need a quick upgrade why not migrate from SEP 11 RU7 to SEP 12.1 RU1 atleast.

There is not any official date when SEP 12.1 RU2 will be released.

I believe it would be supported upgrade from SEP 11.7 to SEP 12.1 RU2. However it can be confirmed after product released.

Hmm, looks like we're getting close to release.  If you go to:  http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=releasedetails&key=54619

and click on "Release Details", a release date of 2012-11-06 is being listed for 12.1 RU2.

I don´t see 12.1 RU2. Instead of this, I only see 11.0.7 MP3.

As Mithun Sanghavi writes, there are documents for 12.1 RU2, guides and faqs. But when will  be SEP 12.1 RU2 released?

My colleague called Support yesterday...  he did ask about 12.1 ru2 eta

Support mentioned possible emergency fix/code improvement...

so 12.1 ru2 might be delayed for few days or a week from now...

I´m starting to think that Symantec is not giving any special attention to this.

There are release documents for 12.1 RU2, the product is available to select on the list of the technical support, but the reality is, nobody in Symantec support knows about it and it´s release date. Where is it available?

And what about SEP 11.0.7 MP3 ? Regarding to http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=releasedetails&key=54619, which is an official website of Symantec, it says SEP 11.0.7 MP3 was release yesterday. And it is not available too.

It seems there is no internal coordination. Support doesn´t have any idea about release dates, but the web is there...

The Release is due anytime this year. There is no official date for the Release of SEP 12.1 RU2.

SEP 11.0.7 MP3 release date is delayed, due to Quality Assurance Process of SEP 12.1 RU2.

Symantec wants to release SEP 11.0.7 MP3 after SEP 12.1 RU2 release.

So it seems, we can only wait patiently for both releases.

In any case, I would suggest Symantec to remove SEP 11.0.7 MP3 release date from the website: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=releasedetails&key=54619 , because this information is wrong, and can create doubts on their customers.

Yes, I also can't wait for this SEP client to be released, because my company is now using mixed version of SEP client from 11.0.4 and also 12.1 RU1 MP1.

Hopefully I can deploy it succesfully to the 12.1 RU1 MP1 without reboot.
