Relocate Media Server Deduplication

Created: 04 Apr 2013 | 1 comment

Hi all,

Just wondering what's the best way/practice to move a Media Server Deduplication storage unit to a different storage device/location? We are moving the phyical server to a new location with storage on a new SAN.

Would it be as simple as shutdowning the services and copying the dedupe data to a new storage with the same drive mapping?

All NBU servers are on version 7.1.01 and all are on Windows 2008 R2.

 Thanks in advance.
