  • 1.  Remediation status not correct

    hope someone can point me in the right direction.

     

    when i patch our estate, i normally check the remediation staus of the patch against applicable machines. This information is reporting incorrectly, as when i go onto a machine that says it has not installed the patch it has and is displayed as installed in the installlog.csv.

    I checked the STPatchassessment.xml and it displays the patch as  :-

    displaying a message - "this version is less than expected"

     

    has anyone ever come across this and knows why the patch is not being picked up as having being installed.

    After another Windows Assessment Scan run, does the report not get updated? What is the exit install code reported?
