Remote agent faults during information store backup
Updated: 24 May 2010 | 3 comments
We have an ongoing problem after upgrading to 11d SP2 (.7170) that our Exchange 2003 information store backups cause the remote agent on the Exchange server (SP2) to fault and crash, interrupting the backups. The event log information is:

Has anyone seen this behavior? The agent is the same as the version from the server (no mismatch) and it only happens with information store backups (normal, non-IS backups work fine)
