Hi,

I have a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 with DS 6.9 SP1 and SQL 2005 Express Advanced Services SP2, all installed after this site:

http://www.symantec.com/commun...ql-server-2005-express

I have also upgraded the server with MP1.

The problem is then I should do a Remote Agent Install I've got the following error:

'No network provider accepted the given network path.' 'Unable to connect to computer xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with username Administrator.'

I'm 100% that I have the correct password. I have a older installaion on a different server (6.8) and the remote install service worked before but for a while ago it just stopped working too. Some Microsoft upgrade? Both the new server and the old one are updated to Microsoft Update.

Please help me.

/Thenga

The client is a thin client from HP t5530 and t5540, CE 5.0 and CE 6.0.

Can you connect to the machine in question's admin share?

\\machine\c$

or

\\machine IP\c$

If you can't do that from the machine you are attempting the remote install from, that would explain the problem. Also ensure that simple file sharing is not enabled (something that is enabled by default on a base install of XP).
