Does symantec have an update/management solution for clients? I have a remote site that does not have a site vpn to the main office. The nodes at this site are managed through main site but are updating through a client vpn that runs on the local workstation. This is problematic so i was wanting to know if symantec has a solution similar to what trend micro has in that you can install the client on the remote workstation to update from the internet, but that client will still report back to the corporate console at main site(what they call roaming mode). Does sep have this?

So if i set 'use a live update server' in the live update server settings, then the workstation will download it's definitions from internet live update and still report it's status back to the sepm(the server console)?
