    That feature is not available on SEP12 SBE at this time.

    You can only  uninstall the Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition client by using the Windows Add or Remove Programs utility.

    Is there a way to block the client from connecting to the server and to disable its LiveUpdate ?

    You can post your requirement as an IDEA.

    Blocking clients from being added to groups

    Blocked Live Update Setting

    SBE there is no option to set settings.

    However if you want you can disable the Liveupdate option at the Client side by changing the following registry.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\LiveUpdate\

    and chnage the values for "AllowManualLiveUpdate" to 0.

    This can be done from the GPO so that it can be applied to all the clients

    Hi ThomasKel,

    About SEPprep: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH148513

    You may want to try SEPprep utility. Its a competitive product uninstall tool. But it can also be configured to uninstall SEP Client by modifying the following line in the SEPprep.ini file.

    RemoveSymantec=Y

    You can push this to the clients through GPO (like a logon script) or using a deployment tool.

    Let me know if that helps. Cheers.
