Remove computers reporting since x days from database?

How we could configure the Asset Management database to remove computers that did not report since a numbers a days?

I'm asking that, since we have to produce an inventory, but we have a lot of OLD computers in the database.

Thanks.

May be you are looking for something like this.

In 6.5 ,Under configuration Page,

Server Settings -> Notification Server Settings  -> Purging Maintenance.

Here, we have an option to Purge Managed computers not reporting to a Notification Server since X days. These can be deleted or set as retired.Asset Management Database should be updated when Purging schedule is run.Purging schedule is a windows schedule and can be managed through windows control panel scheduled tasks (NS.PurgeMaintenence).

Please find the attached screenshot for details.

Please be aware...

This will remove all associated data & history for your assets from the database.

There are options to still retire computer but retain their history for financial reconciliations or to track the life cycle of the asset as well.

This purge will remove the ability to perform those types of historical look-ups.
