    Hello,

What version of SEP are you running?

In your case, since you would like to have NTP uninstall only on certain number of clients, make sure you have all these clients moved to a new group and then perform the steps provided in the article below.

    Check these Articles:

Symantec Endpoint Protection: How to remove Network Threat Protection and Email Tools through the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/2326c6a13572aeb788257363002b62aa/9c45834bf04156c7882573ad00564f30?OpenDocument

How to add or remove features to existing Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client installations

Note: To uninstall NTP completely, a Restart of Machine is important after performing the steps provided in the article above.

    Hope that helps!!

you can assign a package(without NTP feature) to group and set client install setting as do not restart system so that server will not restart after running package ....but you need one time reboot for uninstallation of NTP .

I agree with previous comment. Just keep in mind you would need to restart computers then to complete NTP uninstall (remove drivers). You can force reboot or simply wait for users to do it manually.

Totally agree on above comments. Restart required and also possible that if your firewall service is in disable Mode after restart it will be start up. So before done this change proper snapshot of services and after completion recheck all services

Step for the same is attached below

    To modify Features

    1. Open Add or Remove Programs.
    2. Select Symantec Endpoint Protection, and then click Change.
    3. Click Next.
    4. Select Modify, and click Next.
    5. Use the drop down menus next to the individual component to either "This feature will be installed...", "This feature, and all subcomponents, will be installed...", or "This feature will not be available."
    6. Click Next.
    7. Click Install to modify the installation.
    8. After the installation completes, a restart is required if the change installs or uninstalls Network Threat Protection.

ok, so does disabling this feature (NTP) also means that the Windows firewall will be turned on automatically ?
