remove Old linux endpoint from the manager

    Hi,

We have installed succesfully SAVFL on several machine(with manager version 12.1.4104.4130), for one of that we have forgot to give an hostname to the machine.

We have changed the machine name and right now the same machine appears two time in manager panel: the first with no name and out of date status; the second with hostname and up to date.

Could someone explain us how to remove the machine with no name from the manager.

    Thanks and regards

It might be unsupported way however I would suggest to upgrade the SEPM to the latest version.

In the latest version you should be able to delete them as well.

    Hi,

If possible uncheck the client logs forwarding.

Navigate to Home --> Preferences --> Logs and Reports- -> Upload Symantec Antivirus version 10.x log files.

    Legacy log upload.jpg

It should wipe out old entries from the databaes. Later on you can enable it agian.

You are already receiving info in the console so don't think any additional setups are required. You must have done it in the past.

I would suggest to keep it uncheck for 1-2 days and then enable it agian to monitor the difference.
