Deployment and Imaging Group

Looking for a way to clean up old images that are no longer needed in SMP 7.5.

Once you clear the files themselves, don't forget to go to Manage - All Resources - Default - All Resources - Software Component - Image Resource and delete them from there as well.  

Is there a better way in SMP to do this?

This is a workaround for you not having to delete the image in all of the site servers where it is published. You could send a task script to delete the file. But, in SMP if you only delete it via console, the file published will still exist and consume disk space.
