  • 1.  Remove PXE Menu/Boot Manager Menu

I've got pxe ghosting set up successfully here but now i'm trying to smooth it out and make it more streamlined.

Is there a way i can remove the PXE menu and just have it download the PXE image automatically.

Also i my recent fiddling to get ghost running automatically once the winpe image loads i seem to have made a second menu show up, a 'windows boot manager' menu, it never showed up before but started to show up and every time i created a new winpe image it added an item to this list.

It's now up to 5 items and also has it's own 30 second wait before autoselecting.

Ideally i'd like to get rid of both of these menus and autoload the pxe image then the winpe image.

    Hi

If you need to remove this menu, you can delete the contents of the TFTPBOOT folder (with the exception of the bootptab file) and recreate your PXE package using the Ghost Boot Wizard.

WARNING: DELETING THE CONTENTS OF THE TFTPBOOT FOLDER WILL ELIMINATE ANY WORKING PXE CONFIGURATION THAT HAS BEEN CONFIGURED. TAKE PRECAUTION WHEN USING THIS METHOD.

You can refer the following document for more details,

Prasanna is correct. Deleting the contents of the TFTPBOOT folder is the only way to get rid of the unwanted PXE configurations. You will need to recreate the boot package, but, as someone who employs PXE regularly, it is well worth the time it would take to reconfigure.
