    Hi,

W have uninstalled Enpoint Protection Manager and Endpoint Protection on our SBS 2011 server.

We tried to uninstall using remove Programs, but this was not possible.

Then we used Cleanwipe from the tools DVD (2). It removed the programs, but know our SBS 2011 server claims that it is not licensed anymore. we cannot activate windows again.

We have tried to activate with the normal internet cannoction method, but vthis does not work.

Then we tried the Automated Telephone way, but this is also failing.

Has anybody else had this experience, any ideas, how to activate Windows again?

Cleanwipe should in no way interfere with Windows nor have I ever seen this happen before. What version of cleanwipe did you use?

You can call Symantec to see what insight they may have but you may need to contact Microsoft.

This is a Windows known issue and not directly related to SEP Clean Wipe.  You should be able to reactivate your copy of Windows with no problem.

This can be tricky if AD is on the system. Check this out.
