    Hello,

    we are not able to stage policy MS14-045 because of missing files on MS site. Reason for it is below. Will be new PMimport released, when?

    V2.0 (August 15, 2014): Bulletin revised to remove Download Center links for Microsoft security update 2982791. Microsoft recommends that customers uninstall this update

    Symantec usually takes a few days to incorporate changes MS releases into PMImport.

    Because we move on patches fairly agressivly we had already deployed this patch to about half our machines before seeing that MS yanked the update due to BSOD issues.  However, we've had no reports of this problem from our users yet and most of our machines are Win7 64-bit which is supposedly the impacted OS.

    Ok, let's wait few days :)

    In LAB we already downloaded this patch and installed on some PC aswell and did not see BSOD. Production has to wait for new PMImport.

    Additional info: The problem surrounds handling of the font cache and only gets triggered if you have OpenType fonts installed in a certain way.  This post explains in further detail and has a fix method that doesn't involve system restore.

    I've done a full import of the pmimport just the other day and this is still broken for me.  It shows 29 downloaded of 30 total when there shouldn't be 30 total.  so whenever I go to set up a policy I get a server error.  

    Any word on if this is something that will be fixed or do I need to open a ticket with symantec?
