removed vbs.runauto, now can't open mapped drive

Created: 14 Mar 2008 • Updated: 02 Mar 2009

I recently had a virus at work. It's name was VBS.RUNAUTO. We have the new symantec endpoint protection, I ran a scan, it found the virus and i removed it. Now is the weird part... When I try to get into a mapped drive, I get an error message along the lines of "cannot open/.vbs" If I right click the drive and hit explore, I have no problems and can get in just fine. I found a hidden file on the drive that was called autorun and inside was the /.vbs.runauto so I removed it but still cant normally open the drive. Any ideas??
