    We are running Symantec Endpoint Manager 11.MR4.

    I am using the sync ability of the Manager to pull workstations and laptops from Active Directory. Over the past several days we have made an effort to clean up our Active Directory which has lead to the deletion of several old or disabled Computers from Active Directory.

    However the computers are still showing up in the Endpoint Manager reports even after I manually re-sync the groups. The computers do not show on the client tab; however if I run a report of Out of Date virus definitions; the computers how on the report and shrew the results.

    I have cleared the logs so it only keeps the last 7 days and also I have made the setting “Delete clients that have not connected for 7 days” However the reports still show old or removed computers.

    Where does the report pull the data from and how to I completely remove old clients from the reports?

    HI,

    Login to SEPM>admin>Servers>Localsite>Edit Site Properties>Log settings

    Here you can change the entries as per your requirement. Restart the server and then check.

    If still the report shows old entries, wait for couple of minutes and then check.

    Hello;

    I did adjust the log retension time which seem to help somewhat; however there are still several old clients that refuse to leave. I am still unclear where the data for each report is being pulled from and why the sync does not work as intended.

    I will continue to look for better resources and information.
