I want to remove PGP Desktop E-mail from my workstation because another company workstation has installed it. When we both had it installed, internal e-mails were encrypted. Now that mine is uni-stalled, I am unable to read e-mails sent from the other workstation. They are still encrypted.

I unistalled PGP software, exported the certificates to a file, deleted the file. Certificates no longer show up in Outlook.

The other workstation still sends e-mails encrypted to my workstation.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks

The other workstation probably has your key in its PGP keyring(s), so will continue encrypting to you.  If it is deleted, this will probably take care of it.  However, if you are in a PGP Universal managed setting, you may need to have your key removed from that server.  If you placed your key on another keyserver, such as the Global Directory, you may need to remove it there too.

How do I identify the Key in the other workstation and remove it?

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Keys are usually saved in the "My Documents" folder of the users. You should check there under a folder named PGP. If the other user has your keys added to his keyring, he should delete your keys from his PGP Desktop.

Removing myself from the Global Directory worked. Thanks for your help.
