Hello,

i am using BE12.5 for Windows server.
I created a job for backup 3 Servers.
Now one of them got broaken and can not be started again.
I tried to tell my job not to backup this server, but every time i disabled the server and send it to BE-Server the change wasn't saved.
When i open the job again the disabled server is listed again to be saved in this job.

Does anyone has an idea how i can solve this problem?

Thanks for help

Tobias

Hi Tobias, You can remove the

Hi Tobias,

You can remove the job throgh "view selection details" option.

open the selection list click on "view selection details" radio button.

If you see the server in question there, just select it and delete it. this way , backup exec will not backup that server.

Hope this helps.

Hi tech29,

that's the way i tried it many times, but the radio-button still keeps checked (also after restarting the BE-services).
I see a yellow questionmark at this server (DC01).
Please look at my picture.

Thanks

Ho Tobias, The radio Yellow

Ho Tobias,

The radio Yellow mark on DC01 is because publishing is not enabled on that server.

Pleaser refer to this:

http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/309002.htm

If you want to remove this server (DC01) from the selection list then click on "view selecton details" in your case "auswahldetails anzeigen" and then delete the server from if  this is listed there.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Is dc01 present in the network? If present follow the Technote by tech29 to enable publishing OR
If the server is not present go to "View Selection Details" as said by tech29

Its a best practice to have a "Support Contract" with Symantec...
