Hi guys , Can SEP 12.1.6 MP4 removes sophos 10.3 during the installation as part of the third party software removal feature ?  I checked the Symantec Provided list but the last suppoprted version for Sophos which I have seen is 10.0.

So is it possible to remove sophos ? Any help and idea would be greatly apppreciated. Thanks

It should even though it's not on the supported list. That list is old anyway and needs an update.

I had the same issue with another school with old version of Sophos where SEP installer was unable to uninstall it.

After speaking to support, their 'official' answer was that they will 'look into this & add support for other versions in the future' but it has been more than 4 months and I'm still waiting.

In the meanwhile, we've done the manual uninstall for now, which is not ideal, but at least my project is moving forward with installing SEP on these clients.

Hi guys just to update SEP didn't remove Sophos 13 because its not supported so I had to create a batch file for removing Sophos.

Yes, that's what we ended up with too.

Hopefully Symantec will update the list soon in the future.
