I would like to rename one of my management server. This management server is assigned to all my clients. Will there be any effect on SEP clients? Please see below for your reference.

Renaming should make no difference to the clients as long as the content remains the same.  Maybe a tiny bit of network load as the change propogates to the clients

You cannot rename the default MSL in SEPM 12.1 but create a copy of it and rename it. on the other hand the ones that are created by users can be renamed without any issue. renaming the MSL should not cause any issue as long as you are not making any changes to policy itself like: amending the server name or IP

Renaming it is fine, won't affect clients in any way.

    Hi,

Default policies are grayed out and it can't be rename nor modified.

If default policies are applied you can copy & paste them, rename it as per business requirements and assign it again to all the groups.

As per screen-shot it seems you have done the same thing, so it's safe to play as long as Server priories and hostanme & IP addresses are intact.
