  • 1.  Replace Site SEP Management Server

I've been searching the forums but haven't found an answer to my particular situation. I have a small corporate network with two sites. Site A has a Symantec Endpoint Server with DB. Site B has an SEP Server with DB and another SEP Server without DB. The two DB Servers do replication. Existing Servers are all running 12.1, clients are a mix of 11 and 12. What I need to do is to move the Server with DB at Site B to a different Server at Site B.

My research so far indicates that the easiest way to accomplish this would be to install SEP with DB on the new Server by creating Site C, replicate the database from Site B, move the other Site B SEP server to Site C, point the clients at Site B to the the Site C Servers, set up replication between Sites A and C, and remove Site B.

Sorry if I made it confusing. Anyone know of an easier way?

    Thank you!
