Try using the password command line options from the following article

Title: 'Available Command-Line Options for Smc.exe'
    Web URL: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH103048&locale=en_US

You can also use the SylinkReplacer  utility...it replaces Sylink.xml file , remotely, from multiple computers

Yes, SylinkReplacer is a very good tool.

    SylinkReplacer:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/downloads/sylinkreplacer-tool-connecting-sep-clients-sepm

    SEP password registry info:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC
Change the value for SmcGuiHasPassword from 1 to 0
    Stop, SMC.EXE and restart SMC.EXE.

    Hope that helps!
