Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Hi,

Our Infrastructure includes a Parent NS and 4 Child NS. We are facing issues with replication to 1 Child NS. All other 3 servers are replicating fine.

Things we have tried:

1. Manual / Force replication of policies and filters through Parent NS.

2. Manually ran the scheduled task "Complete Hierarchy Schedule" and "Differential Hierarchy" and confirmed it completed successfully.

3. We have rebooted the server after these tasks were completed.

Still no luck. For couple of package resources we have checked, we found that they have replicated partially (for eg. only version details and detection rules are not replicated of a package resource, rest all has.). I suspect we might have more like these.

Any advise / guidance / things to check would be of great help.

That must be a massive environment to have four child NS's.  How many nodes are you dealing with worldwide?

Do you have a package server in the child server's site that's having the issue?  PS is required for replication, it almost seems, from your package description, that packages may be part of the issue.

Are there any errors in the Altiris Log Viewer on either system?

Our Infrastructure includes more 15k nodes. However, as clients are scattered worldwide they decided to go with 1 Parent and 4 Child NS.

No, we do not have a separate PS at same site instead this child NS is also a PS to that site.

Yesterday we have rechecked and reconfirmed that all other Child NS have replicated fine but only this one is getting replicated partially (missing out some details like version, detection rule, etc. while replication). There are couple of packages with this problem.

Checked Altiris log viewer but not much luck related to resource replication.

Issue still persists...

It has now extended to other Child NS as well. We have got many packages not replicating properly / completely. Most of them are newly created one's.

Is there something we are missing out? What should be checked?

Any help / guidance would be great...
