Created: 08 Jul 2013 | 5 comments

Hi all,

i would like to install one more SEPM in one more site (Remote Site) as replication partner (kind of inventory) for internal policy/sync/updates etc...

My questions are: Do i need to install one more SEPM for that? and if indeed, do i need to order new license for that?

please advice, Moshico.

For policy/group sync, you can install another SEP

for updates a GUP is enough.

installing SEPM does not require license. since replication will have same clients. A single license is enough.

replication shares a common licnse key so no need of aditional

Hello,

yes, to install a SEPM replication partner, you need to install a SEPM and in the installation wizard select the option regarding "new site as replication". No need for dedicated license.
