Endpoint Protection

Right now I have Symantec Endpoint Protection environment consisting of a single SEPM server running version 11.0.6100.645 (RU6 MP1) and an external SQL server. I just built a new server out as a replication partner to my current SEPM server, but I installed version 11.0.6200.754 (RU6 MP2) instead. After installation, as an additional server to the current site, I am unable to log into the Manager Console. I receive the following error: You cannot log on to the console because the server is not synchronized with the database. Upgrade the server and then log on to the console. The new server shows up when I log onto the Manager Console running on the first server and it is even added to the Management Server List. I've re-installed SEPM on the second server all ready to see if it would clear up the issue, but it hasn't. Any suggestions on a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Un-install the new Server.

Upgrade the Old RU6Mp1 server to RU6MP2 then install the New server as replication partner.

Or Un-install this and install RU6MP1 server as replication partner and then upgrade both.

In Replication both SEPMs have to be of same Version its MANDATORY.

If I choose to install RU6MP1 on the new server then upgrade to RU6MP2 on the old server, replication and the ability to log on to the Management Console on the new server will stop until I upgrade it to RU6MP2?

Yes, That is correct. For that reason both the SEPM needs to be upgraded one after one or else there will be version mismatch and replication partner won't work.

Thank you very much. I just installed RU6MP1 on the new server and I'm able to log into Management Console without a problem.
