Report of Assets by Manager

Has anyone created a report that will show, by manager, assets assigned to users and/or departments with Hierarchy.  For example:

President
   Vice President
      Manager
         User

Run a report from the Manger level that will show users and assets they are responsible for or run a report from the VP level that will show all managers under that VP, as well as the users and their assets.
