  • 1.  Report do not display same date as selected on manager

    Posted Jan 17, 2014 07:09 AM

    Hi all

Anyone there have seen this litle feature and maybe know of either a solution or workaround.

    Server 12.1.4

Problem is -  If I try to do a risk report on a specified date my report will be a hour off from the start date.

I can see when I press create report that the start date changes to 09/30 for a spilt second.

It have to be a date which are a bit old, because if I do it for oct-dec 2013, problem is gone.

    See image.

Have you taken the Daylight Savings Time trasition into account?

    http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/timezone.html?n=136

If in the UK, BST ended on 27th Oct.  It sounds as if it is interpreting the search request as whatever timezone was in effect at the time (or automatically adjusting the search terms from the change you're seeing), while returning results in UTC.

Oh, that could be, but it shouldn't matte in the reports - should it.

It seems that you are onto something, this is a bit lame.....

I think it makes sense, especially if the period you're examining crosses the daylight savings time change, to show all the results in the context of a single timezone instead of flicking between BST and GMT halfway through a report.

As long as the SEPM accounts for the DST shift (which is does appear to be) when entering the search criteria, then you're away.
