Report "Executable Usage" --> Installed / Used ?

    Running: ITMS 7.1

    When running Report "Executable Usage"  (All Reports --> Software --> Application Meetering --> Executable Usage --> Executable Usage......I can see that I have Adobe Acrobat installed on 1 machine but when looking at "Used" in the report it is 0 ?

    I have tried to open and close the application and have send inventory both on client side and by sending "Gather Inventory task" from server - but "Used" is still set to "0" ? I have turned on "Meter/Track usage" in the Software Catalog ?

    Please look at my attachment.

    I am wondering have this is working - how does the "Usage" works ?

    Installed is based on file inventory, while Used is based on application metering policies.  If you want to see usage, you need a valid application metering policy in place for that executable.  It looks at the vAMMonthlySummary view, which represents the monthly summary of this usage data.
