Report or Notification for SEP client with Auto-Protect Disabled

Created: 14 Dec 2012 | 3 comments

I created Notification of Client security alert / System event, it does not work when I disable auto-protect disable on some SEP client.

These computers are still online, so report of Computer Status Report -> Client Online Status does not help.

But in Home page, Security Status Details, there is client list with Auto-protect disabled

How to create report or notification to get list of SEP client with Auto-Protect disabled?

Thanks in advance.

HI,

Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1.x reference guide for Symantec System Center users

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH193160

Configure client Auto-Protect options

Right-click the server, and click All Tasks > Symantec AntiVirus > Client Auto-Protect Options.

On the Policies tab, click Virus and Spyware Protection, and either edit an existing policy or create a new policy. In the policy, configure the options for Windows and/or Mac under Protection Technology > Auto-Protect

Thanks In Advance

being Auto Protect does not mean that the Client cannot communicate to SEPM.

Are you receiving the report of clients on which Auto protect was disabled? check the computer status logs.

Please check the damper settings vale of your notification.

You can export the log from SEPM console.(Monitors-->logs-->computer status.)

Export it to csv file an filter it using excel....

Please don't forget to mark your thread solved with whatever answer helped you : ) Thanks & Regards Aravind
