Report to read registry key value

Hi Guy

This is the firstt time I build Altiris report to get inventory data from all computer machine.

I need to get value in registry key of all agent machine. How can we build that report with some parameter like computername, OS, IP address, software and value of one registry key?

You first have to gather that registry information by running a custom inventory scan on the relevant machines. 

The Connect article that James provided explains how to do this.  In simple terms, you first need to create a custom data class, and then create a run script task using the scripting language of your choosing (most examples you will find will be in VBScript).

Once the run script task has been run on the machines and the data has populated the custom data class, you just need to join that data class with say the Inv_AeX_AC_Identification table when you create your report.
