  • 1.  Report Showing Installed SEP Components?

    Posted Oct 18, 2013 11:33 AM

For some of our clients we had opted to not install the POP3/SMTP Scanner component at the time of SEP installation. Is there a report that can be ran that shows which components are actually installed on the client? I have not yet found one. I have included a screenshot showing what I am talking about.

    Thanks

Run the computer status report under Monitors >> Logs. Export to csv and drop into excel. There will be a column for each component and showing if installed or not for each client.

Unfortunatly, unless I'm missing it, I don't see where it lists info pertaining to the POP3/SMTP Scanner.

    Hello,

    Check the Computer Status Logs.

SEPM - Monitors > Logs > Computer Status > View Log > Export Logs

Export the logs to.csv format. The File can be opened in MS Excel.

You can construct custom filters by using the Basic Settings and Advanced Settings to change the information that you want to see. You can save your filter settings to the database so that you can generate the same view again in the future. When you save your settings, they are saved in the database. The name you give to the filter appears in the Use a saved filter list box for that type of logs and reports.

    Hello,

Yup. Good one. It's isn't there.

This is one enhancement we would have to create.

I would request you to add this under enhancement requests (IDEA).

I went ahead and gave it an up vote. It would be nice to see that functionality at some point.

    Agreed. This should be mandatory.
