I have been searching with no luck to find the syntax of adding a value to a report when using the templated text view type. Can anyone let me know what this syntax is? Example: I have created a report that pulls the data I want, but i don't want it in the default view. The name of the first column is PO Number, the parameter name is PONumber. I was hoping that i could just use something like %PONumber%, but that didn't work. When you select the Type "Templated Text" it gives the tip:
Use %COLNAME:value% to substitute a column value from the first row of the data source
Use %COLNAME:name% to substitute a localised column name.
I have tried every iteration of this that i can think of, but i am having no luck. Any ideas? Also has anyone seen any documentation on building custom reports?
