  • 1.  Reporting Microsoft Products

    I've got the inventory solution on and running on all our client machines currently but, the question is:

    Is there a way to generate a report for the Microsoft applications (Word,Excel,PP,Access,Visio, Outlook etc) that will give me just a used/not used number?

    I can see this by computer or by GUID but, i'd like to just know how often each of these applications are used as a whole and as a percentage if at all possible!

    when you say used to you mean opened and actually used  (ie using application metering) or just installed?

    Hi  BJHughey,

    To get used/not used report you will need to have software metering in place for those application. Once the software metering is setup you can pull the information vai SQL or by creating a report in altiris.

    Thank you for the response.

    I do have metering running on the application. I tried a couple of those reports but, I couldn't get exactly what I needed. I"ll try to tweak the SQL queries for my liking.
