Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

  I am getting this error and need help fixing it.

Symantec Endpoint Protection client installed on the Windows 2003 Ent server

Error: Reporting queued error: faulting application SmcGui.exe, version 12.0.1001.84, faulting module MSVCR71.DLL, version 7.10.6030.0, fault address 0x00004370.

Remove SEP

Delete following folders if present
C:\Program Files\Symantec
C:\Program Data\Symantec
C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec
C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Symantec Endpoint Protection
 
Also delete following reg keys if present
HKLM\Software\symantec
HKCU\Software\symantec
Install SEP and try..

What version are you installing? Was there a previous version of the SEP client on this system?

This is a fresh install.

Could you tell us please which components do you have installed on a client? Could you please try to install SEP client with AV/AS only?
