Read some writeups about firewall blocking the reputation link so manually tried said website and this is the server it hits.

We do not have a firewall, blocking any sites.

We do use a proxy called virtunet which is used to filter unsavoury websites and have white listed the symantec web pages and problem still exists.

Can someon confirm the URL's have not changed and the said servers are actually up?

    Followed these steps and works

To test connectivity with the Licensing server

    1. Go to the following page: https://tus1gwynwapex01.symantec.com/

    2. Accept the certificate.

    3. If you are redirected to the Symantec Endpoint Protection web site, the connection is working correctly.

To test connectivity with the Insight servers

    1. Go to the following page: https://ent-shasta-mr-clean.symantec.com:443/incident-mrc/1

    2. If the connection is working correctly, you will be re-directed to http://www.symantec.com YES

    3. Go to the following page: https://ent-shasta-rrs.symantec.com/mrclean

    4. If the connection is working correctly, you will see HTTP 400 Bad Request.
There is no main page or redirect for this server. NO only error as shown in 1st post (using Chrome)

    5. But with IE YES

      The webpage cannot be found

      Most likely causes:

      • There might be a typing error in the address.
      • If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

      What you can try:

Go back to the previous page.

    Hi Rafeeq,

No problem with update definitions rolling out.

    Problem is

Reputation check for unproven files failed because of network errors for the last 3 days.

Read articles of how to stop the reporting , disable the insight etc.

    No firewall issues!

Can manually access sites etc with correct redirection

Now coming up on 5 machines

    Very frustrating
