  • 1.  Requirements for SEPM SQL Server

We are building a dedicated SQL server to host the DB for our SEPM environment. Although I can find information about the sizing (i.e. CPU, RAM) for SEPM, I can find no information about sizing for the SQL server. Does anyone know what the recommended configuration of the SQL server is? Is it sufficient to build with MS recommended minimum sizing or is there a way I can calculate the required CPU and RAM based on the number of clients (10,000) we anticipate in the environment?

    Thanks

You can use the dB calculator for that

here is the excel sheet for it

The DB calculator only tells me the amount of disk space the DB is likely to consume. I want to know how much CPU and RAM to allocate to the server.

The more the better obviously, if you have it.

4 core 8GB of RAM should be plenty
