Whenever I select the option to Restart Client Computer and a user is logged in, yet the workstation is locked, the machine does not completely reboot... Please tell me this is not by design... SEP should restart the enduser regardless of login status...

    Please Advise..

    Hello Squirre12
Now i try with this options and it is worked.
Go to Clients tab in SEP Manager.
    Click Policies> Click General settings
you can see restart options in there.
I think so you choice "Force the computer to restart"
Now choice "Promt the user to restart the computer"
Write personel message if you want.
Choice "Maximum number of snooze opportunities" = 0
Choice "Maximum time between snoozes (minutes)" =1
Choice notification Window will automatically close after (seconds)" = 10
I did like this and computer shutdown.
I hope this will be help to you.
    Thank you.

    Hi,

A managed client on first connect to the server will use some hard coded defaults in regards to a reboot command.  Then after a policy change the client will actually use the reboot settings from the SEPM policy. Try changing the policy and then restarting the client machine, also check whether the client has the same policy number as the SEPM.
