Hi all,

After installed MS update some machine having problems with Restart Later" button greyed out.
I thinks some unknown threat doing this activity. i performed full scan but not detect any virus issue over the hare.any have tool to fix this issue or registry for Restart Later" button again visible.

Are you logged in with same user in both problematic and non-problematic PCs.?...

i have  using administrator user, local admin user. 

Whether same Group Policy applied to all the PCs?

No new GP applied in my N\W..

But why Restart Later" button is greyed out.

In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate

thx for link. but i had already read this link. their is mention due to Group policy update happen this. i agreed. but have can possible Restart Later button is not visible. its some virus change in registry.

Have you tried by changing that registry entry manually.If no try once...

yes i have try this registry but still Restart Later button is not visible.

Once you restart the PCs before applying patch and see any difference is present.

Also check in problematic clients HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update\RebootRequired exists...

on next update still Restart Later button is not visible.
