    Hi ;

         I installed SEP RU5 on my machine which has previous SAV or SEP version. After installation I got following message. which action in MSI is responsible for this message?

    restart notification.JPG

    I want to avoid or hide this message box. (There is nothing in FileRenameOperations registry.)

     You have created an interactive package for the installation hence you are getting the pop up
    the following msi command line reference can only be used with SEP..

    In section [UIRebootMode]
    Valid values
    0 - default will pop-up reboot with Y/N option if needs reboot
    1 - display pop-up; do reboot when UI level is f,u or s
    3 - no pop-up, no reboot when UI level is f,u,or s

    MSI command line reference for Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0

    Hi,

    You can create a silent install package if you are having this issue on multiple clients while installing a managed client.

    Its silent installation with all properties added in MST. I will have a look into SETAID.INI.
