Restart Required For Virus

Hi,

in one of our machine, symantec is asking frequent restart required for virus action.

please find the screenshot kindly help us to solve this issue

This threat is very good at sprading / re-infecting computers, if certain precautions are not taken.  Ensure that all recommendations (password protection, patcehs, IPS, etc) are in place.

Please check with below..

 

Download the file and run it on infected machine 
http://www.symantec.com/content/en/us/global/removal_tool/threat_writeups/D.exe

for details go to
http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2009-011316-0247-99

after that patch the windows from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0D5F9B6E-9265-44B9-A376-2067B73D6A03&displaylang=en

hey,

do a full scan and the run D.exe and install latest ms patch on the system and reboot the system.

Please try to scan system with Power eraser.
