Check system log on the client, does it say a restart is needed?

Home tab will be updated once in every 24/12 hour status based on what you set under preference tab.. its not a real time one. if you click on the restart count it will show the systems name. cross verify that with the client name.Give it a day or 12 hours to get the required status.

    Check the article

Try it on one system and check the result

also can you try rebooting the client from SEPM manager on one client and check if it works?

We saw the same issue a few weeks back turned out to be a faulty driver on the client itself when trying to remove certain elements of the client using autoupgrade (e.g. romal of just NTP).

To resolve it we had to cleanwipe the client and install the client from fresh this fixed the issue.
