bonjour,

merci

Have you tried to see if you can redirect the restore to an ESX host?

You don't know what an ESX host is? Your host is what your guests run on...ie. the physical server.

Are you trying a restore to another ESX cluster, or to the physical host? The restore that succeeds?

Is ESX2 licensed for Vmware ?

If it is running ESXi unlicensed, a restore does not work as Backup Exec uses VADP which is only availabe in licensed copies of ESX(i).

If you get the flat files you can simply copy them across to the ESX host of choice, inventory and then start up the VM.

The job failed with the following error: Unable to attach to a resource.  Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again.  If the server or resource no longer exists, remove it from the selection list. Edit the selection list properties, click the View Selection Details tab, and then remove the resource.
