Hi

In restore if you are able to see data then you can either restore this back to original location else you can use redirect setting to restore it to some other location

Moreover you would need to specify here what type of backup you have taken(Means is this application or normal flat file backup and is this full ,incremental set you are reffering) and were do you wish to restore it

Thanks

Sameer

When you do your restore, make sure that your date range is wide enough to display the backup.  Change your start date if necessary.

I selected the correct beginning date and end date is today.

But still it's not showing.

Right-click on the tape & choose associate with media set - choose retired media set

delete the tape from the UI & run an inventory again.

From tools - options - catalogs, uncheck use storage media catalogs & now run a catalog job.

It's give any impact in date which is stored in tape.

Nopes, we are just deleting the tape from Backup Exec & not the actual data within the tape.

Thanks for your Quick update.

After delete the Tape from our Database again we try to catalog the tape that tape is automatically coming to our Database or not?
