Is restore of Endpoint Protection Manager possible without keystore.jks and server.xml?

Hi. I had a problem that required a re-installation of Endpoint Protection Manager. However I never backed up the keystore.jks, server.xml files (in c:\program files\symantec\symantec endpoint manager\tomcat) from the old installation in order to perform a restore.
My question is : is there anyway to restore without these files. If not, do I need a fresh install of Endpoint Protection Manager and do I need to create new setup.exe client packages and push these out to the clients that already have the Endpoint client installed? Thanks.

I believe those two files are automagically backed up too "<InstallPath>Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Server Private Key Backup. Even if you uninstall SEPM, I believe those two files remain. If you had to rebuild the server, check tape or file backup as well.

Unforunately I deleted the install directory (c:\program files\symantec\symantc endpoint protection manager) and its not on any backup media I have.

<insert picture of a screw here>

I would make a backup NOW of the whole server, then try a reinstall and see what happens.  I don't know of any other options.  If it recreates the database, you may be able to copy the old database over and see if there are some command line options to restore from another older database.  I don't know of any, but there may be.

Problem solved. I was able to retrieve the Symantec protection manager folder (from the recycle bin). I was then able to get the keystore and server.xml files and restore the Endjpoint Protection manager (using instructions in http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2007082112135948). Thanks.
