"TAR RESTORED 148843 OF 157561 FILES SUCCESSFULLY"

Create tar log dir on destination client, add VERBOSE = 5 in client's bp.conf and rerun the restore.

The reason for specific files not getting restored will be logged in the tar log.

Thanks for the reply Marianne,

i have the list of around 10,000 files which were not restored.. i reran the restore for those skipeed file and restore completed succssfully to the same destination, however if run the restore of all directories the restore fails with status=5 skipping some files everytime ...

Logs (verbose=5) does not show any other error than 5 and

09:41:47 (608.001) chmod 555 /netrestore/opt/ignite/icons/C to reset permissions.
