Restore from Images written on different Master Server

hi,
I need to restore from a image written in DR site (NBU 5.4) in Prod site NBU6.5.4. There is now connectivity between 2 master servers.
the Media ID's are different from DR and Prod.
I can recollect is
1 inventory the media ( Do I need to recreate Media ID rule?)
Import the images.
will I be able to restore data as there is no connection to DR master server?
Any tips would help.

Basically you put the tapes in the library and run Inventory
Import phase 1 - creates a list of images
Import phase 2 - selects images for importing
Restore, selecting Source (prod server) and Destination (DR server)
No connection between Prod and DR sites needed for Import and redirected Restore.

If your Pri and DR servers are not having any connectivity then why dont you restore catalog to DR server. This will update DR server with latest catalog.
And you can restore your data on DR server.

This is only possible when both servers are on the same level.
In this case they're not (5.4 vs 6.5.4).
That would only be possible if the upgrade the DR site to NBU 6.5.4 and make the hostnames also the same.
