Restore problem

when i am restore particular mailbox showing this error.
ILSSBOMMX01.INDEUS.IN Restore 00065 -- The job failed with the following error: The Backup Exec server could not connect to the remote computer. Ensure that a Backup Exec agent is installed and running on the remote computer. If a Backup Exec agent is installed, ensure that it is the correct version.
any idea.......

From were are you restoring this mailbox is that from tape backup or disk backup, What version of exchange and ensure BE 2012 is fully patched up with all updates and remote agent is updated too

restroing from tape and exchange 2010 using.Also BE 2012 fully pached up and upate and agent also updated.

While doing a restore from tape it is going to stage the whole mailbox database on local drive of media server and then will restore the mailbox
So would be good if you can duplicate it first to disk and then perform restore
How to duplicate in Backup exec 2012 please check link below

I am suggesting here to duplicate data from tape to disk first & then perform the restore of mailbox from disk backup and check as for tape restore each time you would have to stage the mailbox database first to disk and then restore
