restore on vmware vsphere

hi i have 2 problems with the restore on vmware vsphere i want to restore a virtual machine on a diferent esx host i indicate a diferent host for the restore and netbackup complete the restore but the files of the machine don't appear on the esx host is this kind of restore suported on netbackup? and with the mappin full VM backup is possible restore a configuration file of the virtual machine or only files in the os of the virtual machine?
