I have a 2 Gb USB flash drive, I have created it via Ghost boot wizard and it works perfectly, EXEPT.
A littel info before I cry on the fora :)
image is 1.66 Gb, Ghost files is 2.65 Mb and when both are on it I have 241 Mb of free space on it.
Image forks perfectly, I have restored it to my desktop from our PXE server, with a diskette and then using our normal menues.
WHEN I reboot and boot from they USB flash drive, I select Local - Disk - From Image - select the .Gho file - Select the Local harddríve as destination and keep the standard size of the harddrive and accept the Question 1822 "Proceed with disk restore? Destination drive will be permanently overwrittem" i select yes.
Restoring starts.
In the blue line at the bottom it states.
"Restoring Compressed data"
It takes some time, around 2 min and then
"Restoring ... NTFS Log file"
stops there for a while.
it starts transfering files, Imidietly and error pops up.
Application Error 19235
"Ghost has detected corruption in the image file. Please perform an integrity check on the image.
I press okay and now enter Dos,
it states.
ABORT: 19235, Decompression Error 10
c:\Ghost>
C would indicate teh Flash drive.
I press Crtl+Alt+Del and boot from the usb drive once more to do a integrety check on the image.
I now select Local once more, Check - Image file and select the image file.
It now starts the checking but at around 7 % it stops and states
Application Error 19235
"Ghost has detected corruption in the image file. Please perform an integrity check on the image.
Once more I press okay and now enter Dos,
it states.
ABORT: 19235, Decompression Error 10
c:\Ghost>
my Error log, and it is not readable :(
Just enter the validation code on the picture and it will reveal it self to you.
:(
That is how I fell now :(
I created my usb bootable keyring with GSS 2.0 and the image is a few years old.
