    Hi all

i am trying to restore a image to a client. I have followed the steps in document.
I tried opening ghost server and mentioned the image to be restored. When i click on ACCEPT Clients nothing is happening.

Is this the correct way to restore a image. Could any one help with the steps.

    inputs are most welcome.

    Hi,

Its unclear what steps you have taken to start GhostCast session so Ill just try to explain in few steps what is needed:
When you use GhostCastServer to create or restore an image you need to prepare a boot package for the client computer.
After setting up GhostCast Server and starting a session you need to boot client machime using the boot package you have preapred in advance and join it to the session you specified on Ghost Cast server, make sure that the session name on the client machine is correct.
You also can choose if you want to use unicast, multicast or broadcast to restore an image.
    I hope it was helpful.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

In order to create a bootable package you need to launch Ghost Boot Wizard from a console.
There you have few options that you can choose from but I'll explain only the bootable CD/DVD since this is the relevant one for you.
Choose CD/DVD startup Boot package with ghost and follow the wizard, select the target for the boot package "ISO image" don't forget to check "Support for creating bootable CD/DVD...", name the image and save it.
This will create bootable ISO that you need to create your CD/DVD from.
Use this CD/DVD to boot your machine....
    Hope this was helpful.

    Cheers,
    Orah
